POTERIE workshop is operating in Genoa’s old town since1981.
Founded by the brothers Marcella and Valerio Diotto, clay artists
who studied Art Historyand Architecture.
POTERIE’s strenght is the historical research used in a progressive way.
Valerio projects new models and realizes custom-made works.
Marcella chooses proper raw materials, prepares special glazes
and color blends, both of them paint .
Each model is the result of a research on Genoese and Italian decorative
tradition and is produced in limited edition using ancient
manual techniques.
Distinctive products: relief tiles, projects for tile panels, landscapes on
request, nautical paintings.
New designs are constantly added to archives,
totalling now more than 500
different models
