In Italy there are no other tiles known of this type.

Genoese merchants imported from Spain these 16 Century tiles, very popular in the richest palaces of Genoa.

We make them pressing by hand soft clay in plaster molds. Only the thickness was adapted to modern requirements. Original size was 13,5 cm but we can produce them in any size up to 20x20 cm. For Additional Information on Cuenca tiles go to: HISTORY
